2016 Ford C-Max
First Ford C-Max in MPV segment was introduced in 2003 on European market. U.S. market featured two versions, conventional hybrid and energy plug-in hybrid. 2016 Ford C-Max will be redesigned with interesting design changes and new features. On the exterior it will get new front and rear end, lower intake and redesigned headlights. On the inside of the vehicle it will be enriched with new materials and colors. Also, there will be futuristic dashboard with new instruments, 8-inch touch screen display, 10-speaker audio system made by Sony and My Ford system. Safety features are multiple airbags, stability control, traction control, cruise control, and brake assistant.
2016 Ford C-Max Engine
2016 Ford C-Max will still have same old 2.0 litre 4-cylinder Atkinson engine combined with 88kw electric motor. They will together produce 188 horsepower. Regular hybrid version will have 1.4 kWh li-ion battery, while plug-in gets 7.6 kWh battery for 19 miles range. Hybrid model can do 42 mpg in city and 37 mpg on the highway, but plug-in hybrid does 40 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway drive.
2016 Ford C-Max Price
Price for base model of 2016 Ford C-Max will not exceed $25,000, but energy model could go up to $32,000. Release date has not been officially announced so far.
